[To reference page numbers I'm using an idea picked up at
Mike Markowski's
Thoughts on Aldous Huxley's "Island",
stating not only the page number
but also the number of pages in the book, as a fraction
(he also provides a floating point number but I think
that's redundant (the floating point number is probably
a bit handier for the user, but the fraction displays
the relationship better)). If your copy has a different
number of pages, then you can multiply that fraction by the
number of pages in your copy to obtain an estimate of the
quotation's location in your copy.]
